There seems to be a huge increase in the number of 20 mph zones around the area, Aberaeron has quite a few not just by the school.
Ever since the speed limit signs went up I have thought it rather strange that we have national speed limit signs at the entry to the village roads, turn off the trunk road and speed up!
Whilst vital that the 30 mph limit is in place on the main road we need 20mph limit in the rest of the village to protect all young and old alike.
Does any one else think the same?
How do we take this forward?
Cheers
Jeremy

| Good idea. Surely, we ask our Councillor to take it forward, or simply ask at the County Council offices. Presumably, there needs to be public consultation, which they will do. But there is probably a cost implication. But surely, it can't be that bad? Or else we just get our own signs made up. But I guess you're not allowed to do that. |

I completely agree and I think the Council would be a good place to start - perhaps a petition.

The speed monitors are now in place in Union Street, Water Street and between Bronwydd and Y Felin to monitor traffic speed.
The monitors will remain in place for about two weeks.
